CK Roofing Somerset custom WordPress design and development
Construction, Roofing
CK Roofing had the work and an existing logo, but no website of its own. We developed that starting point into a clearer visual identity, planned the information customers need, and built its first WordPress site around finding a service, seeing the work and asking for a quote.

A local Somerset website that answers the questions before the call.
Homeowners looking for a roofer need to know what the business does, where it works and whether its work looks right for their project. We planned CK Roofing’s website around those questions, with clear information and practical ways to get in touch.
We gave individual roofing needs clear routes, made CK Roofing’s Somerset coverage easy to find, and placed quote and phone options where they would help. A consistent visual style brings the service information and project photography together, with direction for future media to keep that presentation coherent.
The site needed to be useful to CK Roofing too, with services, areas and work that can be updated as the business grows. Balancing customer needs with day-to-day upkeep is central to our approach to website design.
From just a logo to a working digital home.
- Developed CK Roofing’s existing logo and palette into a consistent website visual style
- Planned service, area and project routes around real customer questions

- Designed and built a responsive custom WordPress site with ACF editing
- Added practical quote, phone and contact paths
- Built on-page and local search foundations for CK Roofing’s genuine service area
- Launched, hosted and continue to maintain the website
Keep the recognisable identity, give it room to grow.
CK Roofing did not need us to invent a new logo. We worked from the mark and colours it already had, then built a fuller visual language around them: confident navy, clear yellow accents, strong headings and a consistent way to present services and work. We also gave CK Roofing ideas for other media it might need later.
The point was recognition and clarity. A recommendation, a social profile and a search visit should all feel like the same business. The website now carries that identity through the important customer moments without decoration obscuring the information. That is the practical side of visual identity work.
Give each roofing need a useful route.
A roof repair, a new flat roof and a full replacement are different decisions. We organised the website around those differences, with service routes that explain what CK Roofing does instead of asking everyone to work it out from one broad paragraph.
The live site shows distinct paths for re-roofing, EPDM flat roofing, tiling and slating, chimney and leadwork, repairs and roofline services. The content also points visitors towards real project evidence and the next practical step. This helps people judge the fit of the business before they contact it.
Built for the next edit as well as launch.
We designed and developed CK Roofing’s first website in WordPress, with layouts that put its work and essential information first. Structured ACF fields let the business maintain services, coverage and project examples within the intended design instead of rebuilding a page every time something changes.
The responsive layout keeps service information and contact options clear on smaller screens. Blunt Notion continues to host and maintain the site, using WP Rocket on DigitalOcean infrastructure managed through SpinupWP. See how we approach custom WordPress development.
Match local relevance with a clear enquiry path.
CK Roofing is based in Somerton and serves a real area across Somerset. The website needed to say where the business works while giving visitors a sensible way into the roofing service they actually need. We planned service and area routes, page topics, headings and internal links around that genuine footprint.
Phone and quote options give visitors a straightforward next step after reading about a service or checking coverage. The design connects local discovery with a practical enquiry route, whether the customer needs a repair or is planning a larger roofing project. This is how local SEO becomes part of the website rather than an afterthought.
A recognisable website for the business.
CK Roofing’s existing mark and colours now have a consistent digital presentation, and the company has its own site for people to consult after a recommendation or search.
Clear answers by service.
Visitors can see distinct roofing work and follow the route that fits their need, with project images to help assess the business.
A clear Somerset service area.
The site explains CK Roofing’s Somerton base and the Somerset places it serves, helping visitors check coverage before making contact.
An editable, supported platform.
WordPress and ACF provide a structured home for changing information; Blunt Notion hosts and maintains the build after launch.
A website built around a real business, not a template pitch.
CK Roofing’s first site works because its parts answer the same practical questions. The identity helps people recognise the business. The service and area structure helps them find the right information. The WordPress build gives CK a way to keep the site current, and the contact routes give visitors a clear next step.
If your business has work worth showing but your website makes people hunt for the essentials, we can plan the identity, content, design and build together. We can also take on a focused part of the project where that is what you need.
Could your website explain your business this clearly?
